Crab Lollipop | Crab Bites
Crab is one of the most loved sea food. Many would love to eat the crab, but some of them will find hard to have the crab. Because it’s a very task to break the shell of the crab while eating. Even kids will love this.
It’s a best appetizer for any party. It would be a big treat for the sea food lovers. The readymade crab meat tin is available in the market. You can also use that for making. I have taken the meat from the fresh crab. Make sure you don’t break claws. Claws is nothing but the legs of crabs. Fresh one always tastes better comparing to stored one. Lets see the recipe.
Ingredients
• Big Crab – 500gm
• Onion finely chopped – 1 no
• Coriander leaves Chopped – 1tbsp
• Green Chillies – 2 no
• Bread crumbs – 4tbsp
• Pepper powder – 1tsp
• Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
• Ginger garlic paste – ½ tsp
• Egg – 1no
• Bread crumbs – for coating
• Salt to taste
Recipe
• First break the crab and take out the meat. The meat would be around 150 to 200gms. Keep the crab claws aside to make a lollipop.
• Add turmeric powder, pepper powder, ginger garlic paste, green chillies, salt to taste, coriander leaves and bread crumbs 4 tbsp.
• Mix all together. It will be like a sticky paste. Mean while beat the egg with a pinch of salt and keep aside.
• Take a small ball of the mixture and insert the claws in the small ball. And give it a lollipop texture.
• Dip the crab claws in the egg and coat them with the bread crumbs.
• Do the same with the rest of the crab mixture.
• Deep fry the lollipop on a medium flame.
• Crab lollipop are ready to eat.
• Serve them with the mayo.
Note
Instead of lollipop you can also make crab bites with the same mixture.
